The goal of the project was to develop a visual web-based product to accompany existing clauses from the Built Environment Accessibility Standard Regulations (BEASR) for the purpose of better communicating their intent, implementation, and significance. To accomplish this, the PEACH Research team, with guidance from the Nova Scotia Accessibility Directorate, created a website that hosts a series of photorealistic, 360-degree renderings of built environments representing a sample of clauses from the BEASR. Each of these web pages also includes a narrative component to describe why the standards are important.
